Krunus Refund & Cancellation Policy
Last updated: 10 August 2026
This policy forms part of our Terms of Service. It explains when you can cancel, when you get money back, and how to do either. It is written to be read, not to be survived.
1. Cancelling at any time
You can cancel any subscription from your account at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the term you have already paid for — your service keeps running until then, and it simply does not renew. We do not charge a cancellation fee and we do not require notice.
Separately from that, you may have a statutory right to cancel and get your money back within 14 days. That is set out below.
2. Your 14-day right to change your mind — consumers
If you are a consumer — that is, you are buying for purposes outside your trade, business, craft or profession — you have a legal right to withdraw from your contract within 14 days without giving any reason. In the UK this comes from the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. If you are in the EU, you have an equivalent right under the EU Consumer Rights Directive as implemented where you live.
The 14 days run from the day your contract is concluded.
The part everyone should read. Hosting starts working the moment you order it — a server is created, resources are allocated, and you can put a website on it. Getting the service immediately means asking us to begin performance during the 14-day window. When you do that:
- you keep the right to cancel within the 14 days;
- but if you cancel after we have begun, you must pay for what you actually used, calculated proportionately for the days the service was live;
- and once a service has been fully performed within the 14 days, the right to cancel is lost for that service.
We ask you to confirm this at checkout, because the law requires that you request immediate performance expressly and that you acknowledge the consequence. If you would rather keep the full unconditional right, you can choose not to have the service start immediately — it will be provisioned once the 14 days have passed.
How to withdraw
Email info@krunus.com with your account email and the service you are cancelling. A clear statement is enough; you do not have to use any particular form of words. We will confirm receipt, and refund you within 14 days of being told, using the same payment method you paid with. We do not charge a fee for issuing a refund.
3. What is not refundable
Domain names. When you register, transfer or renew a domain, we pay the registry immediately and that fee is never returned to us — not by the registry, not by the registrar, not at any point. A domain registration therefore cannot be refunded once it has been placed, including within the 14-day period. This is a genuine exception recognised in consumer law: the service is fully performed at once, with your express consent, and the domain becomes your asset.
You still own the domain. If you cancel your hosting, the domain remains yours for its registered term and we will release it to another provider on request.
Services already fully performed within the cancellation period, where you asked us to start immediately and acknowledged the consequence.
Add-ons purchased from third parties on your behalf where the third party's fee is non-recoverable. We will always tell you before you buy one of these.
Accounts terminated for breach. If we terminate your service because you have seriously breached our Terms of Service — for example by hosting illegal material or running a spam operation — no refund is due for the remainder of the term.
4. Business customers
The statutory 14-day right applies to consumers, not to businesses. If you are buying for business purposes, your cancellation rights are the contractual ones in section 1: cancel at any time, and the service runs to the end of the paid term.
We are not unreasonable about this. If you have bought the wrong thing and told us quickly, talk to us.
5. If we cancel
If we terminate a service for convenience, or we stop offering it, we will refund the unused portion of what you have paid, calculated from the date the service ends.
If we get something badly wrong — a prolonged outage caused by us, or a service that never worked as described — tell us. Refunds and credits in that situation are handled case by case, and we would rather resolve it than have you take it elsewhere.
6. Failed renewals
If a renewal payment fails we retry it and email you. A service is not cancelled by a failed payment; it is suspended, and then terminated if it stays unpaid. Nothing is charged for a period during which the service was suspended for non-payment.
7. Chargebacks
If something is wrong with a charge, please contact us before raising a chargeback with your bank. We can almost always resolve it faster than the bank can, and a chargeback raised without contacting us first may result in the immediate suspension of the affected services while it is investigated.
8. How to reach us
Every question about billing, cancellation or a refund goes to info@krunus.com, or through the ticket system in your account. A person reads these.
